I was successful in flashing fanoush's support for higher MMC 4.1 bus speeds using his new experimental kernel flasher internally in the 770 without having to use the USB cable from my linux box. However, I found the operative command to be "./kernel_flash" not the "./kernel_flasher" command implied in his instructions. I found that in extracting the relevant tar file, the command script file was then listed as "kernel_flash." As it worked this way with the "kernel_flash" command, and not with the "kernel_flasher" command, I'd assuming I had proceeded correctly.
