Facebook Contacts plugin (not Hermes or Pidgin) for N900

If there's one for Facebook, that would be good for those Facebook contacts that aren't using any IM, we can still chat to them!

I see there are plugins for Facebook for Pidgin but not one actually integrated into Contacts like Skype or haze

How easy is it to write one?

Can the current haze in devel be updated to include Facebook?

Plan to pick it up again during x-mas holidays.

Still a big problem is, that Facebook gives only access to rudimentary information via their API. Chat, phone numbers, addresses are not available to API users. To get that information you'd have to violate Facebook's Platform Policy, take the user's credentials and simulate a browser session. Pidin's chat plugin works like that.
