Yes... just copy the icons to the QBW dir . To make it easy to remember them just change the names ( The ones you put it the QBW dir) IE call, contacts,web and so on...

hey guys got a bit of a problem, it all started when i decided to install symbian anna icons. all of a sudden my two game on the desktop just dissapeared then i checked in shorcut menu and they are not there but are still in app menu. and i cant change backgrounds on 3 of my 4 desktops!

im running cssu and using qbw (trying to make 4 portrait screens!) :)

well , it's all beecon else than two .
on the left all are common ones on the right top it's filebox then x terminal then cpufreq then bluetooth and wifi :P
in the middle the clock one is digiclock widget then om weather widget then desktop switcher with silent and general profile widgets on the sides.

You can just put an arrow on each one to go to the next desktop

Yeah, richwhite has replied correctly for you eefo. When you go to the settings of desktop switcher, you can choose to put either left/right to switch to either the left or right desktop from the one you are on, or you can use numbers as well to switch straight to that desktop.

It's OMWeather widget, in the repos.
The player widget is QBW icons.
The arrows on the bottom are desktop switcher to scroll to the next/previous desktop.
The big white thing is Oculo widget to display webpage information.
The black icons are just a custom icon pack.

I think that's what he's done anyway...


Actually Bigears5000, would you mind sharing the media player icons? I currently have big silver ones and as much as i love them the desktop is looking cluttered, yours would fit perfectly with the theme.

it added the battery beecon again and this time it's working.

New media page and internet page from me. My main homescreen and portrait screen haven't changed though. Thanks to bigears5000 for the QBW media player icons, which i just resized to my taste and used to cover the default widget icons (don't like having two sets of the same button).

Unfortunately not, I tried the redmond theme which has also no vkb, which is I shame I really like the theme with the old windows colors ( win95) blue and grey :P

eefo mine does to on occasions ..all i did was go to the QB setting ,,update policies and changed the settings to include @sight and @click so when it does turn off I just click on the widget and it shows back up..

Yes. It's omweather. I changed one of the icon packs for om weather, with some icons I wanted to use. The size and other stuff can be changed if you go to "Edit custom layout"

well i have read queen beecon wiki about restarting and power off buttons and there were scripts for restart and power off with caution that they dont recommend us to use it , if you still wanted to use , then on your own risk.

but why do you need scripts for these buttons ?
when you can add reboot button in power menu key.
one big disadvantage of these buttons can be an accidental click.

Can anyone reccomend good fonts. I like tagsxtreme2. I been looking for a easy way on how to change every font to this font. I read somewhere you have to replace the 4 original nokia font files or something but not sure exaclty where and how to do this. Cheers

How do you change the font in facebook, the web? and the menu please. I have replaced my fonts with the defult nokia one and renamed the the same. Like it said to do replace the 4 nokia files in themes/nokia or whatever it was. Everything else works with my font just not these. I used openssh

as laasonen said (btw, nice avatar =P) it's calendar home widget (http://maemo.org/downloads/product/Maemo5/cal-home-widget/), a replace of the default calendar made by nicolai

and the widgets are not by me, but for minhtrimatrix, it's a rainmeter theme called morph (http://browse.deviantart.com/customization/skins/sysmonitor/rainmeter/?order=9#/d365ets)

and the weather widget it's based on and iphone4 theme called revi-krs (http://www.macciti.com/idevice-art/iphone-4/themes/3838-revi-krs.html)

i just tried to port (?) them (kind of) to QBW

oh, battery icon is this one (http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p=872446&postcount=3), but modified to look like the rest, and change mha instead of voltage, thanx to dr_frost_dk here

also, if anyone knows a better way to get the current cpu usage, share it pls, this was the only one i found

i've redone the entire set of weather, now weather-one does all the job while the other widgets are barely outputs, this way consumes less ram and less cpu
#note: delete all widgets of the previous version and re import each beacon again

INSTALL

extract the .queen_beecon_dir folder to /home/user/.queen_beecon_dir
also you'll need ubuntu and droid fonts, if you dont have it, just extract the font folder to /opt/usr/fonts

battery and cpu usage are single beacons, but wifi and weather are various beacons working as one
so, import them and rearrange to look like the screen (or not)

for weather, add import the beacons (wet-icon, wet-desc, wet-temp, wet-place) this beacons does nothing, they are used as result of weather-one

inside weather-one command, you have to change the "XXXX0000" to your city code, get it from here (http://www.weather.com/)
search for your city and you will see the code of it in the url (as http://www.weather.com/weather/today/XXXX0000)
they usually (if not always) are 4 letters and 4 numbers. for example, url for Buenos Aires, Argentina is

http://www.weather.com/weather/today/ARBA0009
so code is ARBA0009
optional, if you don't like/use the metric system, you can change the "unit=M" for "unit=F"

finaly, you have to replace the id<id ...> for the id of each widget (wet-icon, wet-desc, wet-temp, wet-place), in the command,
run-standalone.sh dbus-send --session --type=method_call --dest=oh.no.more.qbw /oh/no/more/qbwid<id wet-desc> oh.no.more.qbw.set_param_string string:"instanceCmd" string:"exit 1" string:"update_content";

for example, if your wet widgets are id9, id10, id 11..etc, command should be

That was my problem also managed only to get the half show up. That archive is bit messy, you can't just copy and paste. =/ well but /home/opt/usr/share/themes or icons is the place where themes and icons are stored ;) I messed up my black-pastic-icon folder with trying :P Not that bad as black-plastic icons are almost the same as hicolor

1- charging png? there is no charging png, also, widget refresh every 5 minutes or switching desktop, so, if you unplugged your usb, u have to wait a max of 5 min or switch desktop to see the change :P
