Just got a N900, and have a few questions!

Sorry, I'm sure these were asked already but I haven't had any luck searching...

i'm running the latest version of OS X, and when I connect it to my computer I see it on my desktop, I can only add videos, how do I add music?

Also, can I remove Chess, and all those other games that came installed?

you can just copy the music files into any folder on the device. If you want to copy it specifically to the music folder, Open up a terminal on the mac OS, navigate to the device and type "ls -a" you should be able to see the hidden folders.

If you connect via Windows, you will be able to see all the folders by default.

At present n900 doesn't support those #numbers, I'm afraid. It's hope that it will soon. :)

i have a mac and been using Salling Media Sync to connect to my N900 and transfer music. It works great !!!!

whats wrong with removing cheese or all the games. First thing i do is remove all the games and it DOES NOT break anything. If you want to remove all the games, simple gain root access and issue
$ apt-get remove game* in the terminal and that will remove all the games. Yes you can re-install them back if you want and can even remove them one by one. I posted this on some other thread about 1week ago.
