Hey
After 2 days of hard use and a few reboots and crashes ive now come to this...

The monitor is not working for some reason it stays black, The light of the keyboard and the led that shows whether u got an new sms and such is working...

Could it luckily be something that can be fixed right the way? or do i need to send it t in to nokia for repair? Ive read the threads about the n900 beeing bricked and all, Could that be it?

Any idea how to fix this?

Kindly regards
Marcus

I've experienced the same problem with the N900. The touchscreen is working but nothing is displayed on screen. I've sent mine to get repaired but I believe it is a problem with the connections on the back of the screen.

I would recommend taking it to a Nokia repair centre to get it fixed. You may be able to fix it by disassembling the phone, but that could void any warranty you have on it.

Does the "flashing dots" and the nokia hands show up at all? If so, you might wanna try and reflash the device before sending it for repair, if not I'd say you've gotta send it for repair yes.
