Problems flashing my N770 with --enable-rd-mode

Hi,

I am trying to flash my N770 so I can get root on it. I am doing this from a Windows box, using VMWare with an Ubuntu image. Problem is, when I use the flasher utility to do this:

> ./flasher --enable-rd-mode --reboot

I get:

USB device found found at bus 001, device address 008
Unsupported board (id = 0x0000)

Any ideaswhat is causing this, and how to get around it?

Also ... I noticed that the dropbear link (https://www.komputika.net/maemo/index.php?search=dropbear&dir=&searchMode=f) on HowDoiBecomeRoot2 (https://maemo.org/maemowiki/HowDoiBecomeRoot2) is not working.

I assume you have set up the correct VMWare USB "forwarding"?

Otherwise, try from a Linux LiveCD.
