Hi guys, i have a small issue with my gmail account set on the n900... is there a way from preventing it from automatically download attachments? for instance, i wanna be able to open the email, read its content without download whatever attachment it contains... on my htc i had set a retrieval limit of 100ks then i would download the attach. manually....
anyone facing this issue? is it a setting ive missed?

It's basically what you are searching for, however.. This is for use with the Modest program (haven't used it myself, so i can't say if it's any good).

Modest is the default email client on the N900 (and the others, too). Are you using something else?

It would be so cool.. if we could update modest without a firmware update easily.
I really hope they fix the imap-idle bug (that it is disabled)
