Charge 770 by usb?

I lost my 770 charger, I probably have it somewhere but I can not find it. Is there anyway to get the 770 to charge by plugging it into my computer with the usb cable? Nothing happens to it when I do this.

It is not possible to charge the 770 through the USB port. At least, not without opening your 770 and performing some serious (and potentially lethal) surgery on it.

I found that most generic chargers with a "small Nokia tip" will work. They're usually pretty cheap as well.
