They used the word "Pocket PC", 'cough'
what's the point of posting youtube links at this forum? none of those clips can be viewed on a 770.

dude, download the clips by entering the URL to a youtube downloading site (google it),
http://www.google.com/search?q=download+youtube&start=0&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official
save the clips with ".flv" at the end of it to your mmc card, and watch them with the latest version of mplayer, available at maemo apps.

Just because this site is about the N770 doesn't mean that everyone is viewing it on a 770. I think it would actually be rather interesting to see a web stats breakdown by platform/browser. It is in fact possible to view .flv files on a N770. The reason this video was posted, I assume is that it features the 770 being used for bluesnarfing.

That's pretty narrow-minded. I don't use my 770 for casual web browsing. I do use it for many other things, though. I prefer my 21" monitor; it's a lot easier on these old eyes.

Actually thats old thats the bluebug hack and is present in the old model phones running bluetooth 1.0 or 1.1 the script they use is call blueserial and is compiled for OS2005. Newer phone run bluetooth 1.2
gentlemen, so i have an alterior motive to my post.
i was curious how some common web page video clips can be viewed on a 770. opera's old flash plugin has been mentioned here before, but the suggested download method is a good option until an upgrade comes along.
that is also a good point about the browser stats for this forum. although there is heavy coverage of the 770, it would be interesting to see who else is visiting and on what platform.
and finally, i do prefer a standard monitor for web browsing, but it sure is more relaxing using the 770 from a soft couch - while also using the 770 as a remote for my slimsever and sounbridge ;)

I don't want a Poll, I want an accurate stats breakdown based on server logs, rather than selection biased results made up mainly of OS-fanboys looking to start a flame war. Server logs would be a LOT more interesting to me.

I see, sorry. Reggie would have to get you that and I know he's busy with a site redesign.

I just thought it was neat seeing the 770 in the wild, in a video segment nonetheless.
... so far as using the 770 to view this site; It's a forum. I post here. Let's be honest, nobody in their right mind is going to want to use the onscreen KB for hammering out a paragraph if a desktop is 2 feet away.
I, for one, frequently visit ITT using the tablet. Not much for posting, true-- only for things that be said very tersely :-)
But I do a lot of catching up on new posts now and then. Am I the only masochist here ? :-)

You could use Andrew's handy online Youtube/Google video converter for the 770 here:

The bookmarklet works great on the 770.
Also, this is the Off Topic forum ... one could make postings about canned meat if they wanted to ... mmmm ... potted meat food products ...

This potted meat product reading is quite interesting, and disgusting at the same time.
