Ok, at home I use Win XP SP2 with Firefox 1.5 & 2
(& very occasionally IE7)
On the road, via Wi-Fi or Mobile connection to Internet I use the Nokia 770 and built in Opera (Where the pda style of this forum increases speed of viewing the forum, but has issues with finding items as easy as with default style. This could just be due to lack of use and my understanding though)
Also, when staying with friends & family, portable Firefox on a USB stick with Foxmarks to sync my Web Bookmarks from wherever I am ;) www.foxmarks.com
I also quite like MyFoxmarks my.foxmarks.com as this allows me to view my stored foxmarks (bookmarks) from within any browser without a plugin as a last resort (Would be great to have foxmarks plugin in Opera on the Nokia 770 :) anyone know how to do that?)

Ubuntu Linux (Edgy Eft) on P4 Desktop, Ubuntu (Dapper Drake) and Windows XP SP2 dual-boot on Centrino laptop, Debian/ Maemo on Nokia 770, Symbian/UIQ3 on Mobile Phone (SE W950i), Debian (Etch) on Linksys NSLU2+400GB USB HD (mostly as file and media streaming server, still experimental :-), Centos Linux / Trixbox on Via Epia Mini-ITX (as Asterisk VOIP PBX).

Bit of a naff selection of options, TBH - too much focus on niche, no distinguishing between "desktop" Linux and Maemo, etc.
Anyway, FWIW:
Windows XP, Firefox 2.0.x
Mac OS X 10.3.9, Firefox 2.0.x
Maemo 2.1, Opera 8
Maemo 2.1, NetSurf (http://bleb.org/photos/show.html?id=ZH4rD0n)
Ubuntu 6.10, Firefox 2.0
Maemo 2.1, Opera 8

I'll try to offer better poll options next time. It is my first time using the poll feature.
I'm curious about Netsurf that you use. Did you download it to your 770 and unzip it or to another computer to unzip it and then transfer it? How do you like it? Do you have the flash plugin installed?

NetSurf (http://www.netsurf-browser.org) is a lightweight browser which doesn't do JavaScript, plugins or anything like that. Consider it at the opposite end of the 770-browser spectrum to Minimo, with Opera in the middle.
I got it onto my 770 by scping the source from my Scratchbox environment where I'm porting it:
http://bleb.org/writings/diary/&month=12/2006#23
At the moment there's a rather critical problem whereby you can't enter any text in an HTML form, as the VKB doesn't pop up. I imagine a similar solution to that used in Minimo will be necessary, but haven't had time to investigate.
In other words: there's no download, there's no package and it's a way off being end-user ready.
Cheers,
Andrew
