Version misunderstanding

My 770 shows version 1.2005.42-9

and the latest up to date version to download from nokia is 0.2005.40-18

This means that I don't need to upgrade ?

I don't catch it !!

hi, i noticed the same thing and decided to leave it. I assumed thosed devices shipped recently would be uptodate. Maybe i'm wrong?

and when I download the file for update it'd version 1.2

i've lost my way now ...

Thenumber after the year is the week number. So the software on the shipped device is newer than the version available to download.
