At least I got a back up battery and stylus now, haha. Will I be getting a new one? Definitely. This is the best phone I ever had, to bad Nokia's warranty doesn't cover being drunk and reckless lol.
Oh and for the record, no more Crown Royal in 2010, I promise.

Now that your n900 is destroyed, care to experiment on the remains for the benefit of us all?
Would really like to know how strong the microUSB port is.
Maybe hook up the usb cable and swing it around, or hold the cable and drop the device. That sort of thing (on video if possible). How much stress can it (the female port) take before being separated from the mainboard.

if you are that rough with your phone then you deserve for it to be broken. you are one of the people who make insurance so high!

Im nowhere near that rough with my phone. My n900 is my baby. The n900 in question is already quite dead and obviously outside warranty.
Stress tests are meant to be .... stressful. Though given that he has only one device, it would be better to start with lower intensity tests first and work his way up.
My concern over the microUSB ports potential fragility has only increased after reading this: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=39072
he could start out with some photos of the solderings on the usb and power jack, so that we can see how they attach.

@Go1dfish unfortunately I already put the N900 to rest in a recycle bin...
However, all I can say is it's extremely fragile because the "pin" area of the USB was no where to be found(flew off/broke off).
I wouldn't recommend anyone to do what I did unless you can take it financially, but even mentally.. To see that kind of device in pieces broke a piece of my heart off... For eternity.
I cant wait for my new n900.. I already miss it... =*(.
btw, this is why i am a two device guy...
Have you tried switching it on and off?

Have you tried switching it on and off?
That's not possible since...
#`1 It was broken into multiple pieces
#2 The circuit board inside was also broken into many pieces
#3 Look at it....
=(.
btw, this is why i am a two device guy...
Hmm, thanks for the tip. I think I will be taking this route as well.

The hell do you do when you're drunk?

House party's, clubbin, bar hop...
That's the result of multiple House parties and a **** load of Crown Royal because all the stores were sold out of Patron and Hennessy.

I am...uhm...shocked. Not by the destruction of the device in itself, but by the fact that someone can be that careless with a device so expensive.
But it's your life and your money, so keep going...

10 $ for stylus :P
haha, man, did you just had it in your pocket and tried to jump on your side on an icy pavement?
Here i always keep it in my jean's pocket with the screen toward me so it can take side shocks from the back and not the glass... But seeing the pictures, the problem seems to be way beyond that ! :-P

Drink energy drinks or those little 5 hour energy shots. The liquid b vitamins in there absorb into your system really fast and will get rid of the headache portion of your hangover.
That is my number one torture item about hangovers the headache, i can't stand it, so I attack it head on sipping energy drinks the whole night and taking a certain combo of vitamins.
Drink good filtered water when you wake up.
Before you go drinking a few hours ahead of time with a meal, down like 3 or 4 multi vitamins.
If you want to know how to recover fast from a hangover without a headache and only a small amount of that tired achey feeling then pm me and I'll tell you what vitamins etc. to take and how much.
Since you have the money it seems you can afford to buy them.
When I got my vits (all of them) people are very surprised at how fast I recover.
Oh...and next time you are on a balcony and the guy with the iphone says, "let me see that." Just put it in to your pocket and walk away.
I wonder if squaretrade warranty would have covered if you had theirs.

The last thing is I remember is dropping it 1 time.. Not to hard, after that I blacked out. According to my friends I was dancing and I dropped it again only this time I was pissed cause the back part flew off.. So I screamed **** it and smashed it on the ground... Then I picked it up and smashed it again... Do I regret it? Nah, not really because I make good $$$ but still that phone is so beautiful and I used it for everything.. So yea I miss it, but would I do it again? HELL NO.
