Urgent: bootmenu timer missing (I'm selling this tablet today)

I've got everything back to default but did the cloned OS to SD card and it works great, but in the boot menu I don't see the countdown timer (I specified 5 seconds). This was in my last format (before I cleaned everything)... how can I included this? I'd prefer one less click/hassle for the new user if it automatically boots to the internal card like it used to.

If I run PB and choose "default boot device" it only lists mtdblock4 (the flash mem)... do I need to boot up from flash mem to specify the internal card?

I don't know and i can't check now, but maybe the bootloader has a config file, like other unixes bootloader (lilo, grub), and you can define more detailed options.

Good point, although I've no clue where to look for it, haha... :) but I'd know what to do once I found it.
