Problem with Memory Cards

Hi everybody.

My N900 can't detect my SanDisk MicroSD Card. I put it in and then check via MC the media/mmc/ folder but it is empty. The mediaplayer also not detects new videos/pics. When I plug the n900 to my PC there is another mass storage on work station, but I can't access it. Does the n900 support MicroSD HC? Or need the cards to formated in a special way? Didn't find any threads about thi. Tried two different cards and none worked :(

The N900 should support all SDHC cards. You need to make sure the back is on the phone after inserting the card, otherwise it won't be accessible to the system.

Ummm.... i can't help but ask why this happens.
Is there any switch the back cover toggles when in position?

Magnetic switch most probably, like the one for the camera I suppose.
