Since updating the firmware I have been unable to sync my Nokia BH-905 headphones with the device. As a result, my last gym session was very painful :(

Working as intended - gym sessions are supposed to be very painful ;)

What way did you update,(i.e ota or nsu)
not sure what could be causing that problem, the update has nothing to do with bluetooth nor does it alter any part of it.

I reflashed the device and did the OTA update.

my guess is because you reflashed the device you have lost the settings.
the bluetooth headphones probably remember the phone but the phone doesnt remember the bluetooth headphones.
searching for the headphones again normally completes the connection again and the phone will recognise the headphones.
Try putting the headphones in sync mode(like the first time you did when setting them up). That should allow the phone to connect again.

hmm you cant be very active in the gym with BH-905? Bike and crosstrainer only?
I just ordered a pair of Vuzix WRAP 920 with Nokia Video cable for my trips on the rowing machine :-)
Wish someone could make me a rowing simulator based on the accelerometer :-) - that would be fun with Vuzix glasses....

Let us know how well they work - I'd like to know more!

are you by chance aware of the bug that BT headphones do not work while connected to wifi?

Maluka - did you re-pair the two devices?
Reset your headphones and try to set up the connection again?

I've tried to do exactly that over and over again. The headphones pair with other phones. Should I reflash again?

Hopefully this should resolve it:
Make sure you completely unpair the headphones, and then make sure you remove the entry for the
Unpair/reset the headphones (at the headphone end), do whatever it says in the headphone manual.
Remove the entries from the
Status-Bar -> Bluetooth ->Devices.
If an entry remains in either device it can cause the two to occasionally have problems - thinking that they should be communicating with a key that's been set already.
If all else fails, maybe a reflash would be useful. And some sort of hard reset on your headphones since its hard to be sure which is causing the problems.

it is a known issue. i fixed it by hard resetting the headphones a few times.

Have you experienced the problem again.. I'm getting a bit arsed off having the headphones crash after every second phone call ends.. its incredibly irritating..

Can you reference this bug? I've never heard of it. I've been using my headphones while on wifi without any issue. In fact, I often listen to internet radio on the device over wifi, using my bluetooth headset.
