N800: Google complains I have cookies turned off

Just tried to customize google. Although I have my browser set to always accept cookies, Google complains I have cookies turned off.

I've not had similar issues on other sites, that I noticed.

Any ideas ?

I have seen this on one other site... I don't recall where though.
