It looks like blackberry doesn't support the N800 so it just won't work, which is odd.

I can get on with my sony ericcson though, but it's my girlfriends phone :(

Both Blackberry and T-Mobile customer service say tethering the Blackberry to the N800 and presumably the 770 is not supported. This is a big deal to me so I had to take the N800 back to Comp USA. Fortunately they gave me all my money back because nowhere does Nokia say the N800 won't tether to the Blackberry. Real bummer as I really liked the Nokia. Currently there is a petition, signed by hundreds of Blackberry users to get this resolved. Until that happens, we are out of luck. Here is the petition."

Why would it be Nokia's responsibility to say it won't connect to a Blackberry? That'd be like them saying it doesn't connect to a rotary fixed-line telephone.

If RIM and/or T-Mobile in the US have crippled your phone, that's there problem - not Nokia's.

Except for the fact that they may have products returned, like I did, incurring a loss.

Listing every device it won't work with is going to be a long - and ultimately fruitless - task.

I've got an NEC e808 3G phone in a drawer. It features Bluetooth, but nothing can use it as a modem.
