Service Issues

I dont know if its just my phone. But my service tends to cut out for extended periods of time, and then it takes forever to come back on. And all this started when I updated the firmware. Any ideas why??

I tried getting a new sim card from tmobile, but they want me to pay for one. Talk about terrible customer service!!

Any ideas guys.
