Anyone else think it ironic that this site is > 800 pixels wide?

Is it? The site is actually designed to fit the internet tablets' browser in full screen, without having you to scroll horizontally.

Another site comment on an aging thread, but in the Mobile skin I noticed that the width isn't dynamic. If I zoom in to get a larger font size I need t o scroll horizontally to see the full width since it's fixed at 800 wide. I supposed I could always try and bump up the font size as mentioned in another thread...

Do you have the View set to Optimized View? That should obviate the scrolling no matter how large you make the type.

I think it's much more ironic that the site has nowhere to put a Jabber ID, given that Jabber is the only IM supported on the N800 by default.

I'd say that homepage is definitely not 770 friendly - i.e., loads slowly. But using the mobile view, or whatever, in the forums helps. Either way I'm glad this sight exists... btw - I'm waiting for my 770 to be repaired. I am starting to jones...
