Hi,

I was just wondering if it is possible to play my media from sshfs mounted folder?

So far what I got working:
OpenVPN to home network via 3g
mount sshfs folder to N900

Now I want to see my mp3's in mediaplayer, but nothing appears there, any solution?

Cheers,
Vitaly

You could try mounting it under MyDocs/something and use file manager to open them, but not sure how well 3g would handle full quality video.

Tracker (the indexing component) doesn't scan remotely mounted volumes. Which is A Good Thing, btw :)

you can use either the file browser to directly open your mp3s, or KMplayer / Mediabox to open the appropriate directory/file. also without indexing, though.

Yep, this way all works =)

Cheers for answers, now I have all my music in my pocket, sweeet.

Yeah I didn't think about slow down that tracker will cause if remote media library is huge.
