Bad screen?

Have had my N900 for a few weeks now, last night went to sleep, alarm went off in morning.. Now screen does not register input? any Ideas? Maybe defect? Tried flashing and now I get startup screen but will not register in put. If i tap right side of screen left side high lites and goes to language. Bought phone in US but live in Philippines, and it isnt available here, will Nokia even have parts?

i think you need to recalibrating the screen again. Setting-> screen calibration.

the reason is you might missed calibration it. so give it a try

How will he do that if the screen isn't registering any input?

try to take the battery out for a few minutes. maybe this will help.

I tried the batt out.. no luck.. and because the screen is registering all the attemted input from the right side to the left side I can not even get past the first screen where you input date , language, and so forth.. I am really stuck here, it truely seems to be a hardware issue. Like I said I even tried reflashing and all that did was change my desktop back to default, so strange it worked fine last night, went to sleep and in the morning I couldnt even turn the alarm off because of lack of being able to input, but I called wife at night before bed and all was well.. Gemlins??
