Hi,
in the next couple of weeks I will probably make the jump from my beloved (but dying) Palm TX to either a N900 or a Droid.
One application that I would like to keep (or find a replacement for) is Repligo, a pdf document-viewer that allows me not only to zoom in an out of a document but also provides a "text-only" mode (essential for mobile ebook-consumption) and remembers (on a per-document basis) where you left off reading (i.e. the next time you open a document you start exactly where you left off).
afaik Evince cannot do that while Repligo would be available for Android.
I would however much prefer Maemo over Android.
So as far as I can see there would be two hopes for me:
Either there is a native application that can to for me what RepliGo does or I could try to run RepliGo in the GarnetVM.
Can someone please enlighten me as to whether or not this would be possible?
Also I would be interested in a side-by-side photo comparing sizes between N900 and the Palm TX - is anyone out there that still owns a TX and could make a shot?
Finally I would be interested in the battery life of the N900 when used in flight-mode (i.e. UMTS/WLAN/Bluetooth all off) - I expect that it would at least give me the runtime my TX provides me with (6 hrs) - is that realistic?
Many thanks!
