[Help Wanted]: Icon Designer

Exact requirements will be communicated once interest is established.

Sorry... I'm looking for one icon representing an aircraft taking off, similar to an airport departures sign. Format is PNG in a few sizes consistent with the Maemo application requirements.

I suggest we keep it rectangular with rounded edges - look better in my opinion :)

Thanks kopte3! I had a square icon in mind. For my application, something that mimics those airport signs would be perfect. The blue is great. Any chance you can make the plane look more stylized? (rather than a 747 silhouette) Thanks for your effort!

Yes, the first one is more in line with what I envisioned.

The airplane's wing could be narrower where it meets the fuselage.

Square background in same colour. Rounded corners.

The climb angle is a little steep. Could you rotate clockwise a bit?

I don't have time right now to make the square icon.. But i'll try. You just sketch it (colors, shape of the plane, angle) and i'll try to make it, ok?

Thank you kopte3, for putting up with my cryptic responses. I apologize. I should have done this from the start. I really like the blue background you have done. I would like to keep that. The airplane you drew is close, just the proportions seems off. Also, I think a 'ground' line may be a good idea. Again, many thanks, and apologies at the same time!

If you two don't mind you can share the basics of the icons for your apps. So noobmonkey's health care app icon would look like this:

I cannot speak for noobmonkey, but I think maemo.org orange would look cool instead of green.

Well, first aid kits have that symbol with green background. I already experimented with background colors (purple for your icon :) ) so this time i made it how it should be. Of course maybe he prefers pink version. :p

Hello,
I am looking for my profile setting "Silent" for a new icon. I've found so far but not the right. My idea was an N900 which looks as if it vibrate.
For example, a mixture of the two photos.
