View Full Version : A bear for RedvKathy
I think this site was a popup from something I was looking at earlier in the morning (I think it was Nvidia Fermi or something), but anyway, Kathy and others may like it :)

Well seeing as how TexRat refers to Kathy as 'Mum' on here I think maybe we've found the mascot that was being looked for!

Oh wow!
I never got the attraction of edible bears though. Or candle bears, either. Bears are for hugging not...
Ok, I'll stop there. That's quite some sweetie: how do you eat it? Chip bits off?

Surely with your vocation and your BBC rival (Geraldine) the answer should be obvious? Think of the birthday treat episode and the chocolate fountain incident! lol

You mean you suggest the bear consumes me, rather than the other way around?
(I have a training video of the same ilk as Geraldine's Bible)

Is it me or is does that gummy bear look a bit sinister?
:)

cute & malevolent at the same time!
Could be worse could be this guy (http://www.cryptomundo.com/wp-content/uploads/clown-sewer-untouchable.jpg)
Aww... UPS shipping to my university is more than twice what the bear costs. :/

Ages and ages away. Not till October.
Don't mind being supplied with furry bears for valentines though!!!

Ouch! Can't you find a local supplier?

Why don't you make your own?
It will be a lot more fun!
A sh**load of gummie bears, a large pot and a cake mould is all you need?
I imagine alcohol would be highly recommended!
In fact try this! (http://www.pimpthatsnack.com/project/366/1)

I'm pretty sure this beast is one of those "we can only sell it because of the Internet" items, and so I highly doubt there are any suppliers, local or otherwise. For that matter, while it is indeed awesome, it also makes me feel vaguely nauseous. :P
In any case, anywhere you see the words "UPS" and "Canada", you can generally give up on the idea of buying food for the next week. I think there was somewhere else on the forum way back where I was complaining about them ransoming my RMA'd N810 for $60... that ended up being resolved by Nokia's generosity, not UPS.
On the other hand, their slow shipping doesn't look too bad, and I think I saw some things on that site that ThinkGeek also sells (with no cheap shipping option), so it may be worth a look for other items.

I did a bit of a search and found several places selling it, if you really wanted one. I also found a site that suggested making your own by melting down little gummi bears and putting them in a big bear.
Have to say my preference is for bears you can hug without getting sticky.
