How can i create an image set from downloaded pictures

what do you mean by that? for the wallpaper? just modify the .desktop file in your images folder to point to your new wallpapers.

something like this:

[Desktop Entry]
Type=Background Image
Name=name of image set
Hidden=True
X-
File1=/home/user/MyDocs/.images/file name.jpg
X-
File2=/home/user/MyDocs/.images/file name.jpg
X-
File3=/home/user/MyDocs/.images/file name.jpg

connect your n900 to the computer. In the .images folder there are files that end in ".desktop" edit those, or make a new one of those files, and change the file names as i have above
