View Full Version : [Maemo 5] fMMS installation: missing dependencies

i downloaded the fmms file from the link above, but when i try to install it, it says "unable to install "fmms" some application packages required for the installation are missing"..

i tried to download the missing python files but it says the are incompatible..

any advice on this please?

can you screenshot the error? or copy it exactly :) - hard to tell you what to do if we dont know the error message, file versions etcc...... :)

why are u installing it from there? enable extra devel then download fmms and then disable extra devel.

Buddy hi there please guide me how to enable "extra devel" wt i enabled was in the application catalogue of maemo.org and thats it. Is there any other method of doing wt your saying if yes then i would be pleased if you could write or if you could wriet me an email directly at kamran@instrumed.com.pk

Don't install the deb directly from there -- open http://repository.maemo.org/extras-devel/dists/fremantle/install/fmms.install with the N900's default browser. Be sure to disable extras-devel after installing. :)
