how to add fonts [Archive] - maemo.org

To view some local web site, require to add fonts. How to do that? Tried to copy ttf to /usr/share/fonts got err message saying 'access denied to this folder.

Copy them to /home/user/.fonts, or become root (http://downloads.maemo.org/product/becomeroot/).

FWIW, the Maemo wiki is your friend (http://maemo.org/maemowiki/HowTo_AddFonts).

Thanks. It works.
Opera browser picked fonts from /usr/share/fonts and not from /home/user/.fonts
