I can't believe I stopped checking up on this project.

Debian for ARMEL is now a reality:

I imagine it will take some time before we can make use of these packages, and of course none will be hildonized, but it gives me hope :D

So, instead of waiting for hildonisation, why don't we get rid of hildon? :D

Different glibc versions will cause a problem, for a start.
