How big are everyone's backups?
Mine is up to 160mb big now. It takes about 15mins to restore the device after a reflash. I am wondering if this is typical or its because my backup is now bigger than the device can handle efficiently.

Loads of SMS, no emails (all online), about 350 contacts (only a few with pics) and some calendar entries, a few bookmarks...
I've loads of apps and games loaded, etc

Sounds like mine is almost too big. Does anyone else have a backup bigger than 100mb & how does it affect the restore performance?

Do you have massive email folders or something? I'm now worried mine is too small.
A bad case of backup size envy...

46 here, about 150 contacts, 400+ calendar entries, 10MB Xchat logs, and a lot of conversations and emails.
Check your backup folder and see which zip file is taking most space.

My latest backup is taking the most space. I backup every 2 weeks or so. There are about 10backup files on my SD card backup location.
It is now taking more than 20mins to restore the 167mb backup I have.
I do not have that many emails. I only retrieve the last 3 days worth so about 50 total emails from 3 sources on the device

Check the latest backup folder, it has zip files in it, see which one takes most space (somehow I believe it's the 'settings' one)

Mine used to be 2.5MB. The last one suddenly jumped to 4MB. I'm going to figure out what takes the additional space and get rid of it.

Mine is about 6MB. I found that sent e-Mails clogged the most space, just deleted them.
