I was wondering if there are any decent strategy games out there for the 770 (rts or turn based doesn't really matter). I saw there's a possibility in crimson fields, is it any good? The look of it makes me think of a 'serious' version of advance wars or something :)

There is a pretty good version of Freeciv, a Civilization clone. It is turn based and more management oriented than combat oriented, but it is a lot of fun.

http://ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/f/freeciv/
use the arm packages .
I have not tested this yet.
you should get the maemo ported version. there are a few changes so that it is playable on a small screen.
it should be at the site http://syslog.movial.fi/archives/30-FreeCiv-port-for-Maemo-2.0-platform.html but it looks like the website is down
update:
the link to the package from http://maemo.org/maemowiki/ApplicationCatalog2006#head-c6c02c1b7602fd66a17d0b338c7ce4560437e148 seems to work

I cant move any of my combat units into other peoples cities or settlers
You have to declare war first, Go into Diplomacy and change your relationship with the other civilization.
