Hello everybody,

New to Maemo and getting to grips with how the community works and was just wondering if there's any way i can help developers by donating?

How does it work?
If i donate to a program will it be released sooner?
How can we push apps from testing to extras?

I would really really REALLY like to see Dr Noksnes in extras so mere noobs like me can make use of Maemos awesome power. Plus i can play all my favourite games out and about!

(Also if anyone could point me in the direction of the extras pages that would be grand, cant seem to find it for looking!)

Any info would be greatly appreciated and i hope to hear from one of you soon!

All the best guys and keep up the stellar work! :D

It works first by making a developer feel proud/recognized/rewarded and makes him/her smile :).
Then he/she may get inspired to work harder to roll out better products and support.

No, donation has nothing to do with the app being pushed to extras.
It will get to extras after the QA(testing/validation) has been done on the app and it gets 10 votes from users and QA team members who installed and tested the app.

By helping to test it and by making sure you read this (http://wiki.maemo.org/Help_testing_software)and this (http://wiki.maemo.org/Extras-testing/QA_Checklist)before beginning to test.
