Gizmo voice mail wav file not opening

Hi,

Thanks for reading my thread. I opened an account with Gizmo for both in and out calls. The calls work fine on the n800 but when I get a voice mail I can't open it on the n800. I use hotmail for email. When I open the voice mail email from Gizmo and then open the file, the Media Player that comes with the n800 opens, tries to open the voice mail file, and then tells me this sort of file is not supported. This is a surprise to me since Gizmo is advertized as one of the voip clients for the n800 and of course Gizmo Project makes software especially for the n800. Anyone else had this happen? I have registered a support ticket with Gizmo. I'll update this thread when I hear from them next week.

I'll post a follow up to my own post about message.wav files not opening when trying to retrieve a Gizmo Project email with the n800. I was able to solve my problem apparently. I signed up with Gmail for an email account and then set up this account with the n800 email client. With this I could then open a message.wav file received and downloaded into the email client . This seems a bit odd though since my previous attempt to download the message.wav file using Hotmail minus the use of the email client had seemed to place the file into the media player just as the email client had. Anyway, it seems to be working now.
