Hi, I was on the latest o6 O/S on my 770, But i wanted to run a script that was written for 05 O/S. As far as i can gather from all the posts about the download i want to run this is what i had to do (back to 05) to get it to work.
I have x-term installed and blueserial and thats it since i reflashed last night but cannot get blueserial to run in x-term? I have even followed screenshots at trifinite to try exactly as is in the screenshots but with no luck.
I run the hcitool scan and it finds my 2 handsets(cellphones)but when i try and run blueserial i get the not found message!
Is there anyone out there who can help me with installing this script and getting it to run, I think its probably something simple as moving it to the right place or editing the file, or even the correct way to download as ive tried direct from my 770,to my XP desktop then transfer to my 770.
I am stumped.
Anyone who can provide me a howto would b a STAR ! I also bought a debian GNU/Linux "bible" its called, like the xxx for dummie type book so i'm sure if anyone can give me a start to finish install "howto" i'd be able to get this up and running with your experienced help of course!

p.s-the reason i want to run this is pretty simple someone is running it i amm 99% certain in my local area but the only way to know for sure is if i can run it myself and understand exactly what happens so i can prove whats going on! Dont worry no criminal act has been commited its just a taste of own medicine is overdue to someone! :):D
