Heh.. I will still buy an iPad as soon as Zinio release their iPad app, because it will still save me time and (shipping costs) to get the magazines that they carry...

I'm still waiting for an open platform that can strike a deal with the content creator/publishers to make available as much content Apple has been able to so far, but I'm not holding my breath...

The only sound argument the writer of that piece of junk makes is that the media has been all over the iPad because Apple promises to make everything OK again, and give them their business back (music, movie, and newspaper/books industry desperately need a game changer -- or at least, they believe they do -- and see Jobs as the Messiah).

All the other points lambick mudderworth makes? Moot.
