MP4 support on Nokia N810

I have currently set the device to boot with the 2 Gb memory as the system drive. I have tried playing a mp4 video file, but the video quality is much less than par. Is there meant to be mp4 video playing support on the device? Thanks in advance.

mp4 is both a family of video/audio codecs and a container. If the mp4 is h264+aac then the limit is probably at around 352x288 resolution.
