Arono: Ah, it's all marketing FUD. If this had been a Dell tablet, Dell would have done the exact same thing and gotten maybe the same press. It's just that Apple had two things going for them. Ravenous fanboys who will help them push this, and a really good marketing department. As a company, Apple sucks, is epic evil (on a Microsoft level) and nothing more than overpriced status symbols.

Call me jaded, but I've yet to see any truly saintly companies out there. Anyway, I've never claimed to not be a fanboy of any kinds although I haven't been the rabid kind since my younger years (Palm, Sharp (zaurus)..).

I was just pointing out a pot that was calling the kettle black :) Let's all just chill and look at all these available tech and gadget available to us without having to swore a lifetime allegiance to any of them. At the end of the day, all they want is our money anyway.

Absolutely, and actually I just posted this because I was amazed how Cnn could write this article, even publish it on the front page under Editor's choice and yet it only says the prime minister of a small country thinks the ipad is excellent. Talk about apple being lucky :D it's comical since electronic communication like the ipad absolutely isn't something new

I hope he wasn't doing anything other than reading news stories on the web. Apple products are incredibly unsecure...Obama had to give up his iphone for a hardened blackberry when he became president because of email and message security (though I have heard that the 4.0 OS will come out with more security features such as remote wipe).

Perhaps he was using that remote light switch app they show on the iphone commercials to turn off the lights in the presidential mansion?
