... howabout at least one 770 specific free-for-all-any-topic section? At this point I'd rather see 770 related posts on *any* topic as opposed to sifting through everything on the N800.

I thought people were, for the most part, being good about prefixing posts with 770/800, as relevant.
that's made it somewhat easier in keeping up with relevant postings, at least for me.

I'm still rocking the 770. I'm kinda getting sick of the N800 posts too, only because I don't have one! :) Then again, I love the hard case on the 770 and the fact that I can still connect to net with my T-mobile Dash.

Only issue I seem to have is trying to integrate the PAN networking (http://www.internettablettalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3402) into the connection manager (http://www.internettablettalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4059). I've sorta given up hope on that.

I also heard that the N800 doesn't have the ability to hack it so you can even do any of what I've done on the 770 to network with my phone.

There is of course the OS 2006 sub forum, which is essentially 770 specific.

I tried this suggestion a while back, but got shot down. I know I'm getting tired of clicking post that only turn out to be specific to the N800. It seems as time goes on people are putting the IT model in their heading less and less.

How about his:

I can stop new posting in the General forum (people can still reply on current threads however) and then create two sub-forums under it: Nokia 770 and Nokia N800

It will be like:

General
- Nokia N800
- Nokia 770

Does this look good?

That'd be cool. I don't mean to sound like I'm whining, but I notice my participation here has nose-dived lately. Since the N800 is still new(ish), the volume of posts is insane and it means going through 10 pages to try to pick out the 770 topics...
