770: can't open eMail Attachment

Strange, I have a 512 MB SanDisk MMCmobile card but when I try to open an attachment with the PDF-Reader it says: "not enough memory". The attachments are only between 30 to 60 kb. What can be the reason for my problems?

The memory it needs isn't flash memory, but RAM. Your 770 has only 64MB RAM in total. Check your virtual memory setting in the control panel, I'm not sure how much swap space the 770 can get through the control panel but set it as large as you can (it will create a swap file on your card and use it to extend its virtual memory - your total VM will be RAM+swap)

(BTW the _real_ problem is that the pdf reader is somewhat stupid, as it tries to keep the whole pdf file in memory at all times)

Unable to change virtual memory. It doesn't get bigger than 64 MB. No idea how I could extend virtual memory. Sorry but English isn't my home language. Maybe you could tell me what I got to do with simpler words...?
