Great story, let's see if you will appeciate it.
I'm known in my circle of friends/family for being smarter than the average bear, and owning this phone does not come of a surprise to them. I was at a party, showing off the raw power of my awesome phone, when a wanna-be big shot cousin of my wifes :rolleyes: takes one look at my phone and says "yeah I got a friend with that phone" (he always talks out his ***)
I scoffed. "yeah right".
"No seriously he does"
"dude I can bet you $100 that he doesn't have this phone. I'm pretty sure I'm the only person in Modesto with this phone. possibly the only person in Stanislaus county with this phone"
"no dude seriously, he has that phone"
"whatever dude"
"look i'm gonna text him right now. whats the name of that phone? N900 right? he has that one. I'm gonna text him"
he sent a text, and he didnt get an answer.. 20 minutes later he tells me "looks like he is not answering right now."
".... yeah" :rolleyes:
well, 2 days later I get an MMS
"Looks like you owe me $100" , and he sends me this:

for about the first 5 seconds I'm shocked. oh shiz, he wasn't kidding...how can this be... there is no way....
but then I realized... something doesn't look right here. so I immediately went online. "this cant be... this doesnt look like my phone". after some research I found that it is this:

his "friend" didn't have an N900, it was a cheap, hundred dollar knock off! I texted him back
"1. the offer expired. 2. it's a cheap chinese knock off. you can find it at www.lightinthebox.com , search for n900. it's 124.99 plus shipping. mine was $599 from Dell."
...... he hasn't responded since :D
