If you have wlan turn on the charging of the battery will take "forever" . That is what I have noticed on my N800.

N800 was powered off whole night and it was still charging today. Even status looked that battery was full 5 hours / 10 days.

Turn OFF the N800 plug-in the charger you should see an icon in the middle of the screen. If it shows charging give it a few hours and see if the icon change to a full charge icon.

N800 was OFF and it was plugged whole night. Didnt stop charging..

But I can plug it back if you think that it that it was not plugged for sometime and plug back would help.

Not sure if this has been posted..but does anybody know if you can charge the N800 by plugging a charger for another device (GPS navigator) into the mini usb port?

Well, I have another problem with charging the battery. I plug in the charger, and I get a 2-tone beep-beep, and a little window pops up and says 'Not charging', with a little yellow exclamation (!) with the symbol for an AC plug. Nice... so, I have about 3 hours left on the charge, and then what?
