Hello Developers,
From the recent Firmware PR1.2 which supports USSD Codes, So i thought why not we can have a Dialing Pad widget for N900. If we can make it,we can save lot of time as without going to Phone shortcut. Just dialing the number from the screen or requesting USSD codes.
Thankyou

What about setting up a proper proposal or ask the maintainer of USSD widget to implement it?
Maybe this can help you, tapping a number (or "#" for ussd) with the keyboard directly opens the dialing pad (from the desktop)

tomorrow I'll try to port it to the phone ... dbus-send for issuing call is already in place but doesn't produce anything in scratchbox

why not make the widget sideways therefore when you unlock your phone you can easily make a phone call in "portrait mode"

Why not ...
1) Rotate the pictures counterclockwise with graphic proggie :D
2) Change hotspots in command for button "* +"
"*" [0147]=>[789]
"+" [369] =>[123]
3) Change hostspots in command for dashboard (CLR, BS, CALL)
CLR [0147]=>[789]
BS [258] =>[456]
CALL [369] =>[123]
4) Change angle of result text in dashboard widget to 90 or 180 degrees
See HERE (http://wiki.maemo.org/Queen_BeeCon_Widget#Parameter_Substitution_at_Comm and.2FScript_Runtime) for details on hotspots positions.

Hallo guys, contest deadline is approaching in about 12 hours so I need to give QBW, and the competition itself, as much visibility as I can to all bystanders or late-comers.
If you like Queen Beecon Widget please vote for it in current Maemo Coding Competition in this thread (http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=58928)
Ciao and thank you, No!No!No!Yes!
