View Full Version : [Poll] What do you think it will be launched first: PR1.2 or Meego 1.0?

Nokia never compromised with any date for FW updates like PR1.2, but Meego 1.0 is target to be launched by the end of the month... Just for fun (or not), if you had to bet, which will be launched first: Maemo PR1.2 or Meego 1.0?

I think MeeGo.

And I will also think that is very, very funny. (Or at least, I would have - but it appears the UI might just be a recompiled XFCE - in which case not as dramatic as a new UI/UX that I thought was coming.)

If I remember correctly you're the one who brought this subject up first in another thread, and I started the poll because I also think Meego 1.0 is most likely to be launched first...

Not sure when PR1.2 is coming out. But i have word from a few of the developers that Meego's first release will be out at the end the May. So, in respects to Meego, we wont have long to wait.
However I am sure Pr1.2 will be out soon.

MeeGo may have some big bugs, so it don't need as much testing as PR1.2. It can be released half-done.

Agree,...believe the strategy is to release fast [even if half done] and finish it later...at least that's what 'maemo' indicates

That's been said few months ago.. and for sure, soon we're going to say "pr 1.2 is coming soon."
