Hi everybody
Just got an n800 today £268 from mobileplace they must be selling like hot cakes as the price has gone right up to £300
I have charged it in work ready to take home later. I was sending pictures and mp3's and generally pairing it with my sony errickon k800i and i tried the remote control and it works a treat! This device is great!

Which parts of the remote control system works?
Can you get a cursor on the screen for instance? Or is it controlling the media player?
I'm curious ;)

Ah! The phone becomes a BT mouse... That's cool.

So you basically get control via the arrow buttons and can select links, etc.? Wondering if it behaves more like a small keyboard than a mouse since I didn't see a cursor.

I did this with my Mac and my SE phones all the time. It is a built in feature set of the phone but you are the first to do it with an N800. :)

Your phone can be a "soft" (as in software) Bluetooth Human Interface Device. Any system that supports the BT HID profile can have the phone as a input device.
AFAIK, this is a SE only feature but i did some guy trying to do it in Java.
