Is there a program that does YAHOO IM.?

On Yahoos page they have a DEB version of it. Will that work?

Gaim is suppose to work, but it seems to be a bit buggy. You can do a search on Gaim to find threads.

No. It will only work if they have an ARM-based version of it, specifically compiled for the 770.

This is similar to a Windows CE device, not being able to run a Windows XP program.

I've used gaim and it works, although I haven't used it for any extensive im'ing more for the occasional im'ing...well at least on my 770.

I've done Yahoo IM via gaim - the only bug I've found (that I remember) is that it's really difficult to get the application to actually quit. Works fine, though.

When I installed it I got connection and authentication errors. I tried my user id/password on my home computer and had no problems.
