View Full Version : N800 (or 770) as USB keyboard for PC
I can't find - is anybody think about this idea :confused:
1) Device has USB
2) Device has virtual keyboard
Can it work as usual USB keyboard?
After all this idea has some features

makes no sense to use it like that even if it was possible. you can use it as a bluetooth keyboard which may be some use. you need to download
Xkbd-btHID
This is a soft-HID device. A software implementation of a Bluetooth HID Keyboard. This will turn your Nokia770 into a Bluetooth keyboard.
The feature I talk about is use it as password storage. So, later, you can connect it to PC and select appropriate entry in password storage for transmit password to PC.
Bluetooth seems not usable in this situation. Anyway thanks.

wow! I've been dreaming of a way of doing that for the longest time, I was actually looking into USB capable PICS to see if i could make a lil pocketsized thing, but having a program on the n800/n770 would be fantastic

I try to find answer on "Is N800(770) can do it", but nothing while
So, it will be bad way, if I realize it on PIC processors (by many reasons) - I think you know what I talk about
