Hi,
To Joikuspot and tethering users who have T-Mobile in the US. I know the standard message is to move to epc.tmobile.com as your APN but has anyone noticed that recently they're forcing images to proxy to:
10.165.17.[152-154]
A normal URL reference: www.domain.com/subdir/photo.jpg becomes:
http://10.165.17.152/www.domain.com/subdir/photo.jpg
This significantly slowed down my system. Video and pages comes up but I'm missing jpg's and png's. Everything else was working fine up until recently. I ended up switching back from epc.tmobile.com to internet2.voicestream.com and everything is back to normal. Just curious if anyone else has seen this problem.
When using epc in my N900 settings and also on my dialup (wired) I get the same problem with the proxied images. When I change either to internet2.voice.... and connect using said method my browser behaves normally.
BTW, in LA I can consistently get 1 to 4 Mb/s when the internet connection is good. Recently they've been doing lots of maintenance.
Is anyone else seeing the same?
George
