Is there a way to revert from custom icons back to system icons?
I really like the black plastic theme, but the custom icons in the app menu blend too much with a dark background..
and the humanity theme is great but I dont like custom icons.
Thanks....

Couldn't you just copy the files/png's from alpha theme that you need and put them in black plastic theme in the responding folders? I'm not sure it will match, the alpha theme have that blueish color going on?
Just a thought :D

I will release soon a new update for Black Plastic without those custom icons. I personally don't like 'em too, but I though it would be cool to include those since many people seems to want some special on that area too.
My personal opinion is that it's just confusing that icons changes with themes and I also like to respect the original icon creator that he has had a vision about what the icon should look like for that specific program.

Appmanager icons are easy, just copy all files starting with "app_install_" from alpha/backgrounds to blackplastic-themedir/backgrounds
Don't know about actual application icons etc.

Maybe you should ask biggzy or D4rKlar or leetut in share your mods thread, they pretty much know where everything is and wich directories and paths :) Just make some screenshots and they will know where it is...
Didn't you start that thread :confused: Epic ;)

for default icons in humanity theme just rename or remove /usr/share/icons/humanity_icons folder

Could someone pack those humanity icons and share them?

@Blinde:
just install the theme or get the source from repos

I don't want to install that theme. All I want is those icons in one pack.

If you install the theme then you can copy the files you want and then put them in the theme fiolder of your choice. Simple as that and then you just uninstall it again ;) Atleast that was what i would do :)
