[REQUEST] image light auto balancing/auto color app

Hi people.
My old LG KU990 has a nice feature that automatically "lights" the images, so if you had a dark photo it makes it less dark without losing quality and "sounding" fake.
Of course its not like the photo was shoot in light, but it helps sometimes.
Irfanview has this too as auto color balance.

Is there a way to put a plugin like this directly into photos app?

I see a lot of share plugins and a contacts merge app beautifully integrating with Maemo's stock apps.

I think it would be wonderfull and pratical to see that option easilly than with gimp or Ansel (wich is kind of confusing in UI).
