I installed the FM Radio but where do I go to use it after it's installed? It's NOT in my "extras" folder.

It's an applet which can be added by going to the top section of the N800 desktop and opening the pull down to edit your layout. All the applets on the N800 desktop can be added or removed and moved around etc.

Found it (thanks!) but, I didnt pick up any stations when fast searching. Do I have to buy an antenna or something?

you have to have the headphones plugged in, as they act as the antenna. if you open the app (as opposed to using the applet) you can select if the sound comes out the speakers or the headphones.

Plug in a headset, all the way into the jack.

There isn't a way to access it WITHOUT wasting scarce screen space on the applet, is there? What I'm thinking about is a way (a menu? command?) to bring up the config/settings dialog, which also allows you to start playing and change stations.

Failing that, an integrated applet that does internet radio AND the FM thing.

I use the drop down menu of osso-statusbar-cpu (http://maemo-hackers.org/wiki/OssoStatusbarCpu) for that. You can add custom commands to the menu. The command for the radio is just "fmradio".
