Help creating a bootscreen?

i have created a bootscreen in Vegas Pro, and exported it as an 800x480 WMV, then put it through SuperC to convert it to an 800x480 AVI (Divx, Xvid and H.264) and none of them appear in bootscreen manager when i browse through my memory card

Why? they all play fine in media player.
